    Position Title: Human Resources Manager

    Position Reporting To: Director of Human Resources

    Position Summary:

    The Human Resources Manager is responsible for enforcing employment policies and procedures, administering employee benefit programs, managing workplace safety initiatives, coordinating compliance programs and planning employee activities and recognition programs.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations
    • Administer ODL benefit plans and 401(k) retirement program and supervise benefit and 401(k) enrollment meetings
    • Lead Safety Committee including safety meetings, following up on identified safety violations and resolving ergonomic concerns
    • Ensure training compliance in regards to sexual harassment, safety and driver training
    • Provide guidance for initial and ongoing OSHA and HAZCOM including records of work-related injuries and illness, investigating claims, reviewing records and reporting incidents to appropriate parties
    • Will oversee a few members of the Human Resources team
    • Assist with updating ODL Employee Guide and Human Resources policies
    • Be a resource for employees and managers regarding ODL policies, Human Resources programs, performance, compensation and career development
    • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues
    • Coordinate employee functions and promote wellness programs
    • Support satellite locations and visit as needed
    • Assist with interviewing and hiring of employees
    • Conduct hourly exit interviews
    • Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Excellent communication skills; ability to work effectively with members at all levels in the organization
    • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, mediation, and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft office
    • 5-6 years of experience contributing to human resource functions
