Happy Holidays from IVSHRM!

Dear Valued Member,

As we wind down another year, I would like to thank all our members for your unwavering support during these continued challenging times. Despite many unexpected obstacles, together, we continued to lean on each other for networking, education, and support. Never before has the human resources profession been more needed, and our members are shining examples of the impact of our field.

In 2021, our chapter made great strides in many areas. We expanded membership, retained a top notch group of volunteers to guide our efforts, and introduced a new scholarship to elevate our profession on a local basis. Most importantly, we continued to be a resource for our community on everything from pandemic protocols to recruiting and retaining a quality labor force.

In the coming days, I hope you have an opportunity to relax and reflect on all you have accomplished in 2021. It has not been easy, but you’ve made it through.

We will be reconnecting as a chapter via Zoom on Wednesday, January 19^th at noon for our first session of the new year- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: How to Initiate Change. This will be the first of what we believe will be another great year of quality educational programming.
