Join us Wed Aug 17th at 12pm for Recovery Friendly Workplace/ Project Open. 

The Recovery Friendly Workplace Illinois aims to promote individual wellness by empowering workplaces to support employees recovering from substance use disorder. The RFW Initiative provides an array of prevention and remediation efforts in concert with Sauk Valley Voices of Recovery a 501c3 Recovery Community Organization.

Launched officially in September 2021, (but started in 2019) the initiative was created in response to the growing number of people in Illinois who are recovering from substance use disorder (SUD), and it seeks to create a culture of recovery in the workplace. The Recovery Friendly Workplace meets people where they spend a majority of their time, at work! Not only do we provide all our services free, we provide evidenced-based education for employers and their employees on Substance Use Disorder, Stigma, MAT, Narcan training and kits, immediate access to detox and treatment, and education on Recovery, we also provide employers peer recovery coaches which support their long term recovery.
